088 or 111

想請問各位前輩, 我不是買來每日用的, 那個型號比較好? 我是比較喜歡088的表盤看起來很複雜, 但是朋友跟我說111是經典款式, 背透, 也很好看.  相當煩惱. 088的自動機芯是否很普通? 不及111的手動機芯?  HELP!

As an entry model I would go for the 111, and in case one day you want to let it go it's also easier to find another interested buyer.
I personally favor the simple base models as it's more reflective of the Panerai roots (in my view). Of course if money is not an issue then go for the LEs - either for investment or for the pure pleasure of wearing. Good luck.
( as suggested by the others above, 005 is also a nice one (I am looking for a 000)

personally I perfer the simple dials and classic makes to reflect its heritage but i would buy what I like to see on my wrist...88 is a nice watch too but to me it doesn't inspire the urge to buy, at least not yet
